Instant Haus bugs ?

Post by sebAudio » Fri Dec 04, 2015 4:18 pm

Hi !
I've saved some patterns and use midi notes to change presets and record the notes in the arrangement track and then save the song. However when I open the song, my presets are lost and Instant Haus is set with the "factory presets". Is it the right way to proceed ?

It seems also that the "random notes" feature doesn't work : the notes don't change. Has anybody noticed that ?

thank you

Frankly I don't use this device, but I've noticed a while ago and (reported) the random note issue. The support wasn't able to reproduce back then...
So, you're not the only one. Drop a line to [email protected] maybe.
About your other issue, I have no idea. I'd try and let you know how it works for me. But it doesn't sound right: if the notes you're using to trigger presets are recorded in your clip, then playing the clip back should change presets... unless there's an automation on the presets buttons UI itself, which would cause some kind of conflicting simultaneous actions.
What happen if instead of recording the clip, you create one and draw the note with the mouse? Or just deactivate automation recording?
Sorry if I'm saying shit, I don't have Live running atm.

In fact, notes are ok. They change the pattern or presets.
It's just the presets you create and save in Instant Haus's own preset system are not restored when you open the session.

We made a ticket for the pattern issue.
Thanks for reporting!

Best,
