Live Devices Exposed Parameters

Post by aspsa » Sun Dec 13, 2015 11:39 pm

Does Ableton document all the parameters that its Live Devices expose for MIDI control and/or host automation? Currently, I am working out some customized controller mappings that satisfy my workflow needs, when I came across a dead-end, in this case with the EQ8. It appears that the EQ8 exposes the following parameters:

Filter On A/B for each of its eight bands.
Filter Type A/B for each of its eight bands.
Filter Frequency A/B for each of its eight bands.
Filter Gain for each of its eight bands.
Filter Resonance for each if its eight bands.
Adaptive Q
Device On
Output Gain
Scale

It does not appear to expose these EQ8 parameters:

Audition On/Off
Spectrum On/Off
Mode (Stereo, L/R, M/S)
Edit (A/B)

I can understand the rationale in not exposing the preceding four parameters, since they have little relevance to MIDI and host automation. Still, as a matter of convenience, it would be beneficial for workflow purposes if one were able to access these parameters without requiring a mouse. This would be useful in the context of sound design.
