Massive demo version on Live Suite 9.5

Hi,

I have downloaded the demo of Massive to have a play around with it before buying Komplete 10 at some point soon. Live doesn't seem to see the VST for Massive so I am thinking maybe the demo mode cant be used in Live, is this correct? I am running the 64-bit version of live and I have downloaded the x64 version of Massive.

The demo will work in live.

Where is your massive .dll file located?

I'm not sure to be honest. I literally just downloaded the demo from the NI website, so I assume in the default location, I am on OSX if you could guide me please?

You willl ahve to direct live to the location but also sometimes in OSX VST folders are "protected" and you will have to unlock them.

Could anyone guide me to where the .dll should be located please by default? I have tried to do a finder search for Massive.dll and am getting no results. Also, after looking online, I can only find a guide on YouTube for getting Massive into Live on Windows. If anyone knows of a guide for Mac and could point me to it, I would appreciate it.

I am absolutely ignorant to Macs but I am sure that someone here will chime in.

Do you have any other plugins that work?

Make a vst folder, and put all you vst,s/ dll in that. in preferences under file folder, click on, in : use vst plug-in custom folder, and point to your vst folder, and let it scan until it found all of you vst,s :)

Thank you guys, I have figured it out, i had to turn off the folder in the preferences, and then back on again, and viola, it was there!
