Clicky Sounds

Post by spiffincat » Wed Dec 16, 2015 9:29 pm

I probably worded the last post badly.

I have a section of a song with several tracks running at the same time, several samples and midi notes.

When I play the song back I hear clicking sounds and brief cut outs.

I have Listened to each track solo and this clicks do not occur.

when I play 2 or more tracks, they do.

If anyone has any idea how I migh fix this I would greatly appreaciate it.

Thanks in advance,

Cpu is getting as high as 38% in that bit.

No audio interface in the picture yet.

All audio coming from samples internal.

I hope I got that information correct.

I use a macbook, and have downloaded many samples which I have on my HD. I associate audio interface with a mixing board or toned down version of that to use an external uadio source or playing out to speakers etc. I do neither yet.

Thanks for replying.

try freezing the tracks, and see if it still clicks during playback.

No problem, you're going to want to get an interface though, that will take the load off of your computers soundcard and allow you to do more.
