Yep problem is how much would two TB303's + TR808 +TR909 set you back these days add to that a DrumSampler for Rebirth Mod simulation and you're looking $2000 and up if the units are in good condition.

My aren't the wings of butterflies beautiful and do they not make wonderful perturbations.....

You're missing the point with Rebirth. Its _the_ most accurate TB-clone you can find. If you were expecting a complete tool for music production, you're way off.

I started out on Rebirt 1.0 and Cubase 3.5 -- a great combination even though I never achieved what I wanted... Rebirth is the mother of all virtual instruments and was amazing (probably still is..... haven't used it since)

a flute is old..
a bagpipe is also old.
an acoustic guitar is also old.
my girlfriend is old but you can be sure to find a use for anything when the need arises.
btw, i've not heard a vsti clone of a rebirth clone that sounds as good as the real thing.
audiorealism bassline, muon tau etc are toys, but not rebirth!
hurry up.... mr squigle....
