copy midi from step sequencer to clip

hi guys

i'd like to say if is possible to transfer midi from step sequencer to a clip

for exapmle i'd like to do a thing like point blank riff generator (create a clip and midi note are automaticcaly writed the clip) but with a step sequencer or drum sequencer (look in beap devices)

i know it is possible to record midi from the step sequencer track but in this way is more fast for me

if somoeone has any idea or if there is an api(i don't find anything in live lessions) or a pre compiled patcher to do this please tell me

You'd have to write it yourself....But you can absolutely write midi notes with the API. Check out the LOM.
