Bit rate conversion at same bit rate? Why??

Bit rate conversion at same bit rate? Why??

I don't remember seeing this happen previously. I may not have been paying attention?

I almost always setup a session and record at 24bit/48khz. This gets bounced at 24/48 for the ME.

So why once the processing takes place does a bit rate conversion on the master channel happen??
Does this have something to do with Live internally operating at 32bit?

Yes, it's because Live works internally 32bit.
