Missing files

Post by michaelblount » Mon Sep 05, 2005 8:24 pm

Hi

I have deleted some audio file from the browser by mistake, they have definately gone.

Is there a way of re-lodaing them into live wothout re-instaling live 4 again.

I have lots of songs saved in the self contained folder so if I re-install live am I right in saying I will lose the samples.

I can't see why reinstalling Live will help.

What exactally did you delete? were they .wav files?

Did you check to see if they were in the recycle bin or trash can?

You only have one self contained folder?

You need to explain better what you did and why you think that reinstalling Live will help cause I'm very confused as to your problem.

If you deleted .wav files and they are not still in the recycle bin or trash can well then they are gone and reinstalling Live will not help. if they are .wav files that came with Live then you should be able to get them from the CD they came from with out reistalling live. (I don't know I never used the premade samples that came with live.) but untill you explain your problem better we can't help you.

Hi

Thank you for your reply.

Yes they are the wav files that came with Live when you install it. I must have deleted them by mistake and also with things I didn't need in recycle bin, they have definately gone.

I have two computers with live four on and my main computer I use for recording doesn't have them.

I'm sure there must be a way of getting them back off the live CD but not sure of the procedure.

Thank you
