[Old, see new thread] Ubermap: Push VST param remapping
Re: Ubermap (w/experimental 9.5/Push2): Push VST param remapping
6.6 now released. I'm happy to test on a windows 10 install when it's ready.

I get some weirdness from time to time, like if I save a bad version of the cfg, it stays unloadable (no devices on push) until a live reboot.

Hey guys,
This topic is getting to big for me to keep a serious track of it, but... As this is a highly interesting g thread I think we should do something to keep it clean.
First thing I think is that we should simply have a separate thread for Push2.
I'll try to have a deeper look at what has happened the last weeks, but feel free to pm me (tom_d ?) if at some point you have something working for P2.
Cheers
Julien

Sounds like a great idea Julien, feel free to PM me (or email) if you'd like to discuss in more detail.[jur] wrote:Hey guys,

I'm not going to get a chance to look at this for the next week, I don't think, as I have a deadline for something next week, but intend to take a look after that and get things running on Push 1 again. It's unlikely that I'll be able to get it up and running on Push 2 without the hardware unless anyone has worked out how to fire up the emulator locally, but I will see what I can do.
When I release the new version, perhaps it would be worth starting a new thread for that Julien? As we can consider most of the stuff in here "legacy" as I am planning on making some fairly large changes to how Ubermap works.
Cheers and sorry for the delay, as ever paying the bills gets in the way

Hi Tom
Looking forward to the next Ubermap release. For the record I just tried Ubermap 0.3b3 on a mac running OSX10.8 and Ableton 9.6 with Push 2 but haven't had any joy. I did the device install and it created the ~/Ubermap folder ok, but it does not create the .cfg files in the Ubermap/Devices folder when I click on plugins.

Any update on this? Sunday is the last day to get the push 2 upgrade, and this functionality would make it pretty special!

I guess development for push 2 has stopped?

Heh, I actually noticed exactly the same as Peter and finally decided to swap my Push 1 for Push 2Precisionguided wrote:I guess development for push 2 has stopped?
One thing this does mean is that Push 1 support might suffer, as I can't keep both. However I do have the Push 1 emu for iPad so can try using with that.
Anyway, I will try and get the existing version working first, then there is a revamped version of Ubermap with more features hopefully coming in the nearish future.
Will keep you all posted, nice to see there is still interest

Excellent news! Thanks for keeping us updated Tom.
Will you be creating a new GitHub repo for this, or will you be continuing to use the old one? Either way, I'd love to help out!
