Subjective. A lot of users are nominating the GUI as the most hideous ever released by a long established developer.

Great idea but the Gui looks like the kind of thing that happens when you fail to unlock some vst's. Or a soupy fog, Jesus isotope sort it out.

Yeah, it's pretty enough but the muted colors mess with me. ikeaboy hit it on the head - looks like something hasn't been unlocked. Totally threw me for a loop.

But I'm not bitching. Sounds pretty good to me :)

This is a cool, eventide style delay for free. Stop whining!
ctrl + left/right = select transient

ctrl + shift + left/right = select between transients

ctrl + space = play selection

Try to click on the 4 screws and the front panel falls off

Yes, it's got some nice features.. (just downloaded it) but I agree, the display issue is just plain weird!!! I don't get it.. At first I thought it was perhaps a bug or setting I was missing, but then I looked at the manual, and the display is just bad there too!
Is this developer just completely anti-contrast? Does he have a diabolical desire to make the users of his tool squint to make out his controls?
Another thing I thought was odd is that the designer doesn't offer any way to Save a preset of any kind. When I first installed it I threw it into the default Delay Return track in Live... and then I just started twiddling parameters.. AT some point I realized.. "Hmmm, I'd like to return the state back to some sort of neutral sate..." , but there doesn't appear to be any way to do that! A critical feature of the affect is the ability to enable the top or bottom delay. I don't know about everyone else, but I CAN'T TELL if a delay is enabled or not, the contrast is THAT terrible!!!

Zen of the day: The question is: can you HEAR if a delay is enabled?

Maybe the next thing is just a bunch of unnamed parameters that you have to tweak in the blind until you get a desired sound. And every time you drop the plugin on a track, the parameters will be re-ordered, so you have to start from scratch.

Is the GUI 3D? You know old fashioned 3D with the glasses with a red and green lens. I don't have the glasses so I can't test.

I had to laugh.....I received an email from IZOTOPE that mentioned

"To help keep track of the sounds you make, download the DDLY Recall Sheet to log the settings that work best for you.".

It's followed by a blank representation of the plug-in so you can mark Parameter settings (with a magenta crayon?).

Ha ha! Really? Your kidding right? Seriously? Am I supposed to keep a three ring binder with drawn out DDLY parameter settings? Why! This IS a computer right? all of these settings Boil down to digital values.... Why can't I just make a preset and save it? I'll admit I don't currently own any IZOTOPE plug-ins besides this (ok yeah.....it IS free). one. Are they all like this?

Maybe the marketing strategy is that after everyone downloads the freebie they will later release a newer version that's easier on the eyes, with Savable presets? For an upgrade fee?
