Monitoring with headphones using Presonus Firestation?

Let me know how to separate the main l/r out and the headphones
in order to prelisten in headphones before launching the clips out to
the main l/r with Presonus Firestation, 8 out 8 in.

You would do that in your audio preferences. there, you can select channels for your cue (prelisten) bus.

also, how stable is the Firestation. I have an RME multiset which drops out audio (not good in a live performance setting)
