can you use transport controller to jog/scrub playback

I can't figure out how to remotely control being able to scrub backwards while live it playing. If you go up with the mouse and grab the arrangement position while it's playing it sort of scrubs backwards or forwards. I'd like a dedicated know to do this. It's really handy to me when working on something to be able to play then scrub back and play again. I was thinking of the Avid Artist transport control but didn't know if there would be a way to get that to link into live 9 so the scrub wheel works from the transport control. Thanks!
