un-solo several tracks at once

Post by laurentius » Thu Mar 10, 2016 1:53 pm

Let's say I solo'ed several tracks that are not on just page (one on track1 and one on track24). Is it possible to un-solo them at the same time with just one button? So far I have to select each track individually...

in preferences select the "solo" button this will let you solo tracks one by one with the contrl modifier or on push if you press them at once..you can solo multuple then only need to push one to unsolo all

You mean the "exclusive" solo function? If I activate that I can't solo more than one track via Push. On my computer it works via cmnd-solo. On my Push I can't find a workaround. Sorry if i misunderstood...

There is no multi select like you can do with your mouse and keyboard (cmnd-solo).

The best thing you can do at this point is hold solo down for a couple seconds until it "locks" and then have all of your solo'd tracks visible on the Push display. Hitting all of them at the same time will solo/un-solo them.

Maybe try grouping the tracks you need to solo and making a single lane out of them? That would allow you to solo everything under that group in 1 button push.

Yeah, organisation of tracks is an important part. Still from tune to tune I have different setups of tracks and it's impossible to make a 100% handy setup. This "kill all solo" button would be dope!

On Push 1, when the Shift button is held down, the Solo buttons will do the opposite of your preference setting for exclusive solo.

So, if that setting is turned off (meaning multiple tracks can be soloed), hold down Shift and press one of the Solo buttons that's turned on to unsolo all the tracks in the set.

Likewise, if that setting is turned on (meaning you can only solo one track at a time), holding down Shift will allow you to solo multiple tracks.

How do we Un-Solo Grouped Tracks?

Post by Tumby » Mon Jun 10, 2024 3:20 am

How do we unsolo tracks within and without groups at the same time?

On macs, CMD + clicking on any solo button unsolos all non-grouped tracks, but this still leaves tracks within tracks solo'd.
