Headphone cue setup w/ tascam 4x4

Post by CJVD22 » Fri Mar 11, 2016 2:44 pm

Greetings,

I currently running Live suite 9.6 on a 64bit windows system.

I am currently trying to setup my dj template, more specifically the headphone cue section. The problem that im running into is that im only hearing the master channel output of my set through my headphones, and not the track i have in cue mode.

I have 2 pairs of stereo outputs selected in the output config, & Input config. (1/2) & (3/4). In the settings panel of my tascam 4x4 i have line outs 1-2 & 3-4 set to computer. In ableton i have the master channel in cue mode w/ channels 1/2 as the master output & 3/4 for the out. When i have a track in cue mode, i can see levels in the signal meter for the cue section but nothing through the headphones.

I believe the problem is that the headphone jacks on my tascam 4x4 are dedicated to LINE OUT 1-2, which makes it impossible for me to route channels 3-4 to my headphone jacks?

If anyone could confirm this, or knows what im doing wrong please help!

There are headphone outputs on the front, dedicated to 1/2. Which is the problem because im trying to have 1/2 be the master output & be able to preview songs in 3/4 in my headphones. It was not possible w/ the tascam 4x4, i returned it and got a komplete audio 6 from NI & all my problems were solved because you can choose the headphone output right on the komplete 6 interface with the push of a button.

Thanks for the reply though.
