Sorry in advance for the really dumb question.
I have had live and push 2 for a little while now but sadly haven't had as much time as I'd have liked to really get into it.
So far I just use the midi tracks to record things but now I want to try my hand at recording audio straight into Live.
Would someone please be kind enough to explain the process of how I actaually get the audio in to Live. I have an elekton analog four connected but do not know what settings I need to select to feed the audio into live so I can record it.
Also, is it possible to bounce tracks in Live and overdub external effects?
Thanks in advance

Are you using an audio interface with Live?

Yes... I'm using a Focusrite 18i8. I have my analog four and a roland integra 7 connected to it. This is what I want to try to record.yur2die4 wrote:Are you using an audio interface with Live?

In an audio channel, you can select the inputs, correct? When you choose external input, you should have several options. One of those options should be the inputs your hardware is connected to.
If you activate monitoring input Or have it on Auto and arm the channel, you should get sound from your hardware within the audio channel in Live.

Thanks very much for the help. That was easy enough lol. Not sure what I was missing there.
So the outputs are always routed to the Master?
If I record a new audio track will it automatically sync to the songs tempo?
