Hi all,
I have tried to find this info in the manual but haven't been able to find it yet, i know it's in there but I thought I'd ask here while searching.
I want to record a few words, audio, using just the mic on headphones with out recording all the other music playing while I record. I need to have the music playing to speak the words over the music without the music bleeding onto the track I'm recording the words on.
I have "Audio from" set to ext. in.
I assumed that because I am hearing the music only through the headphones that no music couls be heard from the mic on them, but there it is, full blast.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.. THANKS IN ADVANCE.. you all rock!

Re: Recording audio without external interface
I had the music playing to loud and was holing the mic right up to my mouth. I didn't realize how much sound was coming out of my headphones.
Turned down the master volume, let the mike hang down and spoke up a bit, problem solved.
