I'm new to producing and I'm in the process of recreating A$AP Rocky & Skrillex's "Wild in the Night." There's a faint hi-hat sound in the first 40 seconds of the song that has a laid back groove with frequent notes. I've tried using Ableton's groove setting and changing the length of each note, but I can't seem to get the timing/groove right. If I space out the notes, they aren't frequent enough and if they are next to each other, it sounds too fast.
I would appreciate any help that I can get with this!
