modular synth
It'd be great to have something like the analog synth in single modules like envelopes, lfo, osc, amp.
I know there are already some m4l modules, but I'd much prefer them to be live modules.
There's already the auto filter which is great and which I use most of the time instead of synths own filters.

Noblige oblesse.
Re: modular synth
They could do this quite easily imo. Hope they're working on these sorts of things for v10 whenever it eventually comes out
Re: modular synth
Whenever I've mentioned similar things in the past the conversation has gone
Everyone else "Just look at what's possible in M4L!"
Me: "but that's not the same is it. I'm talking about making Live modular, not making a modular in another app inside Live and it not working very well"
Everyone else "But look at how great the 3rd party modular style M4L things are, they are quite good now! "
Me "but again ... that's different. an encapsulated box in a box in a box. Does it interface with Live as fluidly as a native device? Is it as stable? Is the sound as good as it could possibly be? Is the resource usage the best it can be?"
Everyone else "you can't expect that from small / one man suppliers who have to conform to what the API will currently allow!"
Me "exactly! That is my exact point!"
Everyone else "now you are just being unreasonable!"

Re: modular synth
To the OP, Check out Oscillot by Max 4 Cats, does a lot of this very well.

Re: modular synth
I already checked out oscillot and it's not working for me. It ruins my workflow. I'd like to have the modules in the device view and
quickly loadable without having to load m4l first. You could argument that if one was using a real modular synth it would take much more time and effort
to set it up. Yes, but it's not 60s or 70s anymore and there are people who aspire or got used to a different and faster workflow.

Re: modular synth
Yeah Steve, you've made your views on this known before
. I agree fwiw, but in the mean time this is what is available so it's worth pointing it out for those people who maybe don't know about all the options available.

Are you sure, let me just check my records...

Ok, you may be correct.
