.mov won't import to Arrange View
I'm in 32 bit, 9.6.1.
It was recorded with Quicktime using the Macbook Pro camera
Any help much appreciated,

Make sure QuickTime is installed on your computer.

.mov is just the container, maybe the codec inside the file isn't compatible. You could try using open source software like MPEG stream clip to export it with another codec and see if it works.
MOV files may contain video, audio, timecode, and text tracks, which can be used to store and synchronize different types of media. Each media track may be encoded using one of several different codecs. In order to play a MOV file, an application must be able to recognize the specific codec(s) used in the file.

Good fact, Salokin. I use Handbrake to convert codecs - reliable, fast...and free! Maybe give that a go?
