Convert to drumrack-Simpler should default to "Classic" mode

Currently it converts all the slices to "One-shot" mode. I cannot seem to find a default directory in the user library to change it to "Classic" when converting.

Classic is better I think, as you have more options to play with, and stuff I alter all the time:

full proper ADSR as opposed to Fade in/out
loop on off + loop start/end/loop fades
retrigger on off
voices (in case you want overlapping hits)

It is easy enough to change each hit to Classic from One shot, but would be slightly more convenient if Classic is default.

I've saved my default Simpler as Classic btw, and it does not affect Simplers born from converting to drumracks.

Hi,

You can save a default into User->Defaults->Dropping Samples->On device view.

I guess ->on drum rack is for the drum rack.

Unfortunately it seems you can´t select different Presets before converting on the Push2.

Bump on this thread!!!

I find myself adjusting the same 10 parameters every time I load a clip. I've tried saving the default settings but that only applies to a blank simpler instance. I'd like to be able to save defaults settings for when clips are loaded into simpler. Any ideas? Is this possible?

So it seems to work fine when I load a drum rack and drop 128 samples into the drum rack, I can get them all to appear in Classic mode.

Now, I have previously built drum racks where everything is in 1-shot mode.... is there a way to switch all simplers at the same time to classic mode? Or am I stuck having to go through each individual simpler to change them all 1 by one? This is incredibly time consuming!

HERES THE SOLUTION!

1) Right-click on the top of the Simpler bar and save the empty Simpler (in 1-Shot mode) as the default.

2) Copy this file to:

• User Library > Defaults > Instruments

• User Library > Defaults > Dropping Samples > On Device View

• User Library > Defaults > Dropping Samples > On Drum Rack

just tried that but does not seem to make a difference. Slicing to drum rack or midi track has all Simplers still in one-shot mode.

Any other tricks?
