I`m slowly getting into sound design. Creating the fattest kick or baseline out of a simple sine-wave with some synthesis and modulation is pure awesomeness
To beginn with I`m focusing on the operator and I`m trying to learn which parameter does what and why. As a visual display of the sound-wave helps a lot with understanding what`s going on, I have searched for different signal-wave analysers in order to see which parameter change effects the sound-wave in what form.
I`ve come across the oscilloscope plug-in of max for live, which was a good start. But I would like to really be able to analyse the sound-wave and zoom into it. As an example I`d like to see how oscillator B with a saw-wave effects oscillator A with a sine-wave in detail. So I would like to see the little saws on the sine-wave.
Does anybody of you guys know a signal-wave analyser which can be made big like the spectrum audio effect of live or has a zoom function?
