Rendering looses one stero track

Post by AndyT » Sat Sep 10, 2005 5:50 pm

I have a very strange problem which I have not seen reported.

My setup is an AMD 2.4MHz Athlon, 768MByte RAM.

I have been using plug-ins in the Master channel and all of a sudden it has started to crash the right channel of the plug-in when I initiate a render. The result is silence in the right channel of rendered .wav file.

If I playback the track after rendering, the right channel remains dead. However, if I delete and re-install the plug-in, it works fine, until I try rendering again.

I have tried a lot of plug-ins including various Graphic EQ's, compressors and mastering tools and they all encounter this problem.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is this a known bug?

There are a few threads about this. Some of them have to do with removing PSP Vintagewarmer, and the loading all clips into RAM are two things that have worked for us.
