Please say if you use OSX or Windows
I can't render video since january 2014 on OSX, and Ableton can't resolve the issue due to the quicktime codec that does not work in 64bits.
Workaround: keep a 32 bits version of Live ( Ikeep Live 9 32 bits)
render the audio of your project, open Live 32 bits and export the video and your rendered audio
I hate to do this workaround. I also abandonned harassing Ableton about this...
Now I explain my client the problem with my DAW software, and I send them an audio file and they just put it in their finalcut/Premiere/AVID project.
Not the most professional thing to do, but when I send them 3 or 4 versions a day, it becomes very annoying to do the workaround
