Transferring Tempo Automation.

Post by NOE CLU » Fri Jun 10, 2016 8:00 pm

Is there a way this can be done? I want to send somebody my track but also my tempo automation track so he can have it in his DAW. Possible? Also wondering about copying it to a new project?

Thanks in advance
Luke

Pro Tools has a really good Beat Detective feature that allows the engineer to easily map tempo markers to stem tracks. I'm sure Logic has a similar feature. Unfortunately Abletons Beat Markers are unique to Ableton, I might suggest creating a dedicated STEM track that clicks at the tempo (metronome track). The Metronome stem will help the engineer in other daw SYNC tempo markers to transients.

Thanks for the tip, miekwave! I'll remember that!
