Question: Moving Waveform in Ableton

Post by remcol34 » Sat Aug 06, 2016 10:46 am

Hi,

Maybe a bit of a Noob question... But i am wandering, is it possible to let the wave form move automatic in Ableton ?

I am using the Session view to Dj i've got 2 Song Decks and 2 Sample decks.
Now on the song decks you could imagine that the Sample display is like 200 bars or so.

What i would like to do is to Zoom in so i can see like 32 or 64 Bars and that the wave form will move like in Traktor Dj.

does anyone know if this is Possible ?

Thx, Remco

Read Zooming and Scrolling in the Clip View chapter of the manual.

The follow button in the transport area works in session view and the waveform panels in session view. Keyboard [shortcut ctrl + shift +f] - you may need that, because any time you do anything in the clip view (like alter zoom factor) follow gets deactivated.
