Hardware synth and Ableton

Hey. I synced my Sub 37 to be the slave to abletons clock. I'm using USB to connect the two. Then I connect my sub 37 to my interface 1/4 mono cable. The point that the music starts is on the third measure. When I start the song the sequence doesn't start on one, it starts from the middle of the sequence. When I start playback from one it starts from the beginning of the sequence and meets the beginning of the song in the middle of the sequence. I've recorded sequences before and this didn't happen, but I've been pulling my hair out trying to get this working again. I've tried the MOOG forum and haven't gotten anything, so maybe someone here actually can. Thanks
