Good one, still have Tom Baker's autograph somewhere. If you ever get a chance (not impossible in this age of the bit torrent etc) I'd def. recommend you see a BBC documentary about the BBC Radiophonic Workshop called 'Alchemists of Sound' I think....absolutely amazing. The original bassline for the DrWho theme was based around a recording to tape of a vibrating piece of string which was then copied at different speeds to more pieces of tape and literally cut and taped in to the sequence you know, they had tape loops running out of studio doors and all the way down corridors and back again. Now THAT's old skool!

Yeah, Orbital did an insanely great version. As perhaps the first popular electonic classic, I think it can't be covered enough. Anyway, Orbital are sadly gone, and I'm still here.

Man, I'd love to see that BBC doc - scouring the P2P networks as I type this.

yep - saw orbital do it at their last brixton academy gig and it was an amazing experience!!!!
