I'm looking for a device that can freeze a sample/incoming audio, then be able to pitch that sample up or down on the fly with a knob.
I tried grain-delay or some such device and was disappointed with the results.
Is there a buffer-sampler that can pitch up/down on the fly?

There are a few Max For Live grain samplers that can do this. At least one I think is focused on freezing. Look in the packs at ableton.com.keyman_sam wrote:I'm looking for a device that can freeze a sample/incoming audio, then be able to pitch that sample up or down on the fly with a knob.
