Hi,
Ableton is rewire host / rewire master.
I can rewire 2 different DAWs as rewire Slaves, into Ableton.
How can l make those 2 rewire Slaves have tempos independent of each other and independent of Ableton? And how can l make their "play" buttons independent of each other and independent of Ableton?
I just want Ableton, as rewire host, to shut up and record the DAW outputs, nothing else. I am having this problem in every DAW l use as rewire host.
How to make 2 diff. rewire Slaves have 2 diff. tempos?

Well one of the main goals for the existence of Rewire was to have the Rewired programs play back in sync, so I am not sure if there is a way to undo it in Rewire itself.
But particularly in Live, the only think I can think of that might work is using the Options.txt file to turn Live off as a Rewire Master and then using an audio routing program like Soundflower (MAC OSX), Jack (WIN), etc... to do what you want. Basically bypassing Rewire altogether.
