Hi,
yesterday i installed a new Soundcard (echo dj) inside my notebook.
I tested the card after the intallation with Reason and Reaktor, so the card was working fineExcept with Live 5.01. This crashes directly after startup!!!
If i unplug the card, Live starts as usual!
So it looks like, that Live have some problems with a soundcardchange or so!
Is it ok if just delete the prefernce.cfg and restart live when i like to use the new card?

Live should be able to handle these kind of "soundcardchange". So if it crashes it is a bug. Could you please send me the log file of Live 5.0.1
"C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Ableton\Live 5.0.1 Preferences\Log.txt"
Or better can you try this with the latest beta Live 5.0.2b5:
