Thanks Steko yes I think I must go for 1 TB SSD. I guess the 2.7 GHz Cpu is fine, so I'm going for that.

Sorry what did you mean steko? Is it the price? I'm aware that it's rather extremesteko wrote:http://www.apple.com/dk/shop/buy-mac/ma ... tep=config -> 28.039,00 kr.![]()
Don't blame me afterwards!

Yeah I know man! It's pretty ridiculous and I'm so disappointed that Apple is doing this, making it inaccessible for many artist but what to do? I have been waiting for this for years —making music on a Macbook Air from 2011 is pretty limiting! I just feel very much at home with Macs (ok, I'm a fanboy!) so I have to take the plunge. I'm sure it's going to be woth it! I need to make music and get some gigs
Are you from Denmark too?

Good thing you ordered now because [censored] the price of Apple hardware is probably going to double.

Great man, congrats!scheffkoch wrote:...same here...ha...
I plan to upgrade my audio interface too at some time soon. I'm thinking about the Focusrite Clarett 2Pre and I'm expecting that Focusrite will soon let us know it it works fine with the "USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) to Thunderbolt 2 adapter" (edited). If anyone knows about this, let me know please.

Re: New Macbook Pro
^^^ the Claretts are Thunderbolt interfaces, not USB ^^^
Re: New Macbook Pro
Sorry you are right, wrong adapter. It should be the USB-C to Thunderbolt 2 adapter.

Re: New Macbook Pro
New Mac laptop models always attract a premium. Next revision with processor refresh and price drop will be the sweet spot. This current deal is a bit too much to swallow.

Re: New Macbook Pro
...í reckon the price cut will only be relative, meaning they will raise the size of the standard ssd / upgrades will be cheaper...on the other hand a possible ram upgrade would raise the price dramatically...however...i was waiting for new macbook pros and now i'm happy with the new machines!
regarding the USB-C to Thunderbolt 2 adapter: i ordered one to connect my old rme multiface...so my chain will be: usb-c to thunderbolt adapter to sonnet thunderbolt - expresscard/34 adapter...ha...i hope this will work...i'll see in about four weeks...
