Hello.
I'm new to Ableton, bought the Live 9.71 Suite, installed it and all work fine.
So I bought Push 2 and try to install and use it.
As soon as Push is On Live crashes when starting. If Push is off, I can start Live, as soon as I switch Push on Live crashes.
I looked for some hints in the Ableton pages, I found no solution.
I try to contact the support, no answer - OK, I might be somewhat impatient.
My environment:
Win 10-64, 32 GB, NVIDIA GeForce 980, all updated with new drivers (NVIDIA 376.33).
In the device manager of Windows I can see Push under Sound/Video/Game and under other USB. So this seems to be fine.
And of course I used several USB ports in hubs and also direct on the PC and always with the original USB cable from Push.
Any ideas to fix this problem?
Thanks a lot!

Try a different cable? Otherwise might be a faulty unit, so good thing you already started the process to contact support. I'd make sure that it's not a bad cable, then wait and see what they say. Usually it's not too long of a wait.

Ableton Support found the reason for the problem.
Rewire Engine of Progression by Presonus causes the crash!
After uninstall Progression Live and Push works!

Re: Live 9.7 crashes when Push 2 is On
I've had this same issue. If I have Notion by PreSonus installed on my system, Live crashes every time that I have Push 2 powered on and connected. It doesn't crash when Push 2 is connected.
I'm really curious about where the issue is, here. I'd like to be able to have Notion installed, but I simply can't if it does this.
I'm wondering what it is in the Push 2 installation that makes this happen, and how something could be done about it.
