pc trackpad scroll issue in ableon live

hello, i just bought a new pc, a dell inspiron 13. i had a macbook pro before.
I have a problem with the trackpad usign Live: when I try to scroll up and down with 2 fingers it doesn't work properly, it's really slow. and the horizontal scroll doesn't work at all.
Another problem is that while i play notes with the computer keybord and move the mouse occasionally the cursor get's stuck and stops moving.
The trackpad works properly with borwser windows and other apps.
I was in live 8.4
I downloaded live 9 to check, but the problem persists.
Didn't find any driver update for the trackpad

I actually have the same issue that you're referring to with the 'stuck' cursor.

It doesn't stick if I use a plug-in mouse or touchscreen. It also works if I'm holding notes and hitting tab twice and then try to adjust parameters.

But in general, if I am holding 'notes' using the qwerty, my pointer is stuck and will not move.

does the scroll with 2 fingers work ok for you? trying to figure out if it's a pc problem or ableton's

Ableton has never fixed this. It has been brought up for years. Nearly if not every Windows laptop or hybrid on the market has a multitouch trackpad but it isn't supported.
