Can this be solved?
Computer A running ProtoolsHD is sync master. Midi tracks are recorded in protools and some are piped to a second computer B.
Computer B has LogicX running in sync with Protools and has Live running in rewire mode.
I cannot get rewire to sync. It plays sounds when triggered from midi tracks in protools which are piped to LogicX and then to Live via the rewire connection. But I cannot have a track in rewire play, everything stays at 1.1.1.
There are two ways in which I would like to sync. (1) with logic not running (and only being used as a virtual synth) but with sync messages going through to Live so that can run in sync with protools (2) with both Logic and Live both running in sync with protools.

Computer A is on MacOSX 10.8.5
Computer B is on El Capitan (MacOSX 10.11.6)
All programs are at their most recent versions (for protools this is 10.3.7 and maximum possible operating system 10.8.5)
