Using the Same Plugin More Than Once in a Instrument Rack

I'm trying to use the same instrument plugin in an instrument rack but with different settings. So let's say I'm want to layer an Arturia Stage-73 V. I put the Stage-73 in the instrument rack more than once and I want each one to have different settings within each individual Stage-73. The problem I'm having is that Live is treating each one as the same. So if I change one Stage-73 to be the Fx Trax emulation it changes the other Stage-73 to the same setting. I've tried changing the names in the instrument rack so they're not the same, but Live still controls all instances of the Stage-73 as one. Is there any way around this? Thanks.

Hm, I'm not able to replicate the issue using Absynth. I can layer two instances with different presets pretty quickly.
Maybe it's something on Arturia's side?

I rebooted and tried again and I at first I was getting some weird results, but now for some reason it seems to be working OK. At one point I couldn't get any sound at all from that particular emulation so maybe it was an issue with Arturia. I have 32GB of memory, SD hard drives and an i7 processor, so I don't think it's a system issue, - regardless, it's working now.

On Arturia's site the latest version is 1.0.4.1081, are you running that one? If not you might need to update, but that's the best advice I can give aside from blaming it on a ghost in the machine
