Acer Laptops (1360)

Having odd problems with my Acer 1360 laptop.
2.8 gig
512 ram

I have tried both a echo indigo and a firewire audiophile soundcard and even with major buffer adjustments, I still get a weird stutter in the audio now and again.
Cannot figure out what is causing it.
Help!!

Hey,

On my acer with FW410 I have this stutter unless I turn my 802.11 radio off. You should have a button on the front I think. Reboot the laptop, once logged in, turn the wireless off, then turn on your audio gear, load live, and see if you still get the stutter.

I`ve sorted the problem.
Downlaoded and installed new bios and new chipset drivers
works like a dream now
phew
was about to punch my way through the wall
