Hello I am working on a midi track in Ableton live and I want a midi part in one track to play a synth sound at the same time in 1 octave difference. But it will only play one of the octaves. It plays the synth sound of the C3 octave(the one on top) as shown in the picture. I don't know how to make it play them both. I should be able to do that in the same track right? Do I really have to make a new midi track under to do that?
Please help a confused beginner. Beforehand thanks!

Are you playing a mono patch (one voice)?

Well I am not aware if I am. Is there any way I could show you? What should I take a picture of?

From the clip frame I could read-guess that there's Sylenth1 in your midi track.
I don't own that, but the screenshot on Lennar's website suggests you need to look at the Polyphony parameter in the top row, it needs to be larger than one for your purpose.
Sylenth1 can play up to eight voices per note, so you can probably leave the Voices parameter alone here.

It is that synth yes. The weird thing is that it has been on 3 all the time but still not play the low octave in the midi clip and all notes are activated and it does play the high octave.

I'm not too familiar with that synth, but could it be that the patch within Sylenth is limited to a certain key range?
Or in other words, can you play several notes at the same time, just not ones in the lower octaves?

Well that makes it more likely that it is actually the patch in your synth that is limited to a key range.
Check your Sylenth manual for how to set key ranges.
