A question about multiple midi sync:
If I have an external device as a master clock for ableton live 8 (so ableton is syncd via midi in of the soundcard) Can i send the master clock To another device through The soundcard midi out?
So Can i use ableton To recieve and send a master clock at the same time?
I am actually trying to sync a Mac (with ableton) with An electribe and a microkorg using the electribe as the master clock.
I dont need to send midi informations, i Just need the beat sync of The three devices.
Thanks

Re: midi sync multiple
Open your MIDI preferences in Live and see what you've got. If Live can detect all the devices/ports in question, you can set the sync input and output however you like. Live has no problem receiving a clock and then sending it back out to any other available MIDI ports as long as it can detect them.

Re: midi sync multiple
Great.
Well My midi options say I Can sync the audio card in And out.
This is why i was wondering if i need or not a thru box To connect the electribe and The micro korg to ableton and sync all.
Ok hopefully tomorrow my new synth Will arrive and i try like this, using ableton as a bridge between electribe and micro korg.
