Hi. I'd love to know how to insert just one bar of 5/4 in the middle of a 4/4 verse. Please use the simplest language possible. I've had Live for a week. Thanks.

in arrangement?
Click on the top bar of arrangement where the loop brace is, right click, "insert time signature change". type in "5/4"
now a little way down the timeline do the same again but type in "4/4".
you can drag the markers to get the length you want. You can do compounds that way, or you can do insert/delete fragmentary bars.
In session it's handled differently. Dunno which you need.
