Given that Push 2 was released in 2015, would you worry about purchasing today? Would it be better to wait for a notional Push 3?
I think there was a trade-in program last time. Maybe that's something Ableton would repeat?
Would You Hesitate to Buy Push 2 Now?

The best way forward is to make music! Just get the original Push or a new Push 2 and make some tracks. If there's a Push 3, so what? How long can you wait making music?patzer wrote:Given that Push 2 was released in 2015, would you worry about purchasing today? Would it be better to wait for a notional Push 3?

Are you trying to make music or investing? If the first get Push 2 now, if the second never get anything because another new thing could come tomorrow, save your money XD.

Not sure how wise it would be to assume that a push 3 will be released anytime soon. Its not worth waiting for something that might not be coming anytime soon or at all. Thank about it, you wait for the push 3, a year, 2 years pass and it never comes out, think about how much time you have wasted. Buy the Push 2, and get to producing. The push 2 is still a fantastic bit of kit

This is the trap people fall in that lust after gear, the latest model with the best features because that's what will change the game.
Reality is that MK2/3/4 versions simply build on the success of previous versions and sometimes add a few nice features, normally enough to make the ones with MK1 think they now need MK2.
Think of it more like a hardware synth. You could wait a long time for a bew version or make use of what it offers now.
I'd buy push now if I didn't already have it
