Does anyone have a Faderfox SC4 sequencer? What settings are you using on the device and in MIDI settings on Live to get the tempo to sync via USB?
I have followed the manual very carefully as well Live's guidelines for connecting external hardware, and I can only get it to send sequencer patterns when using internal clock mode. When using USB midi clock mode, it behaves as if no start playback signal has been sent... though I see Live is sending this signal when Sync- Out is turned on in Live MIDI preferences.
Also, are the LEDs around the encoders supposed to display changes to parameters when those parameters are adjusted via a Push or mouse click? On mine they are not adjusting to display those changes, only adjustments made from the Faderfox SC4. I have the Remote In and Out switches set to On in Live.
Any tips on how to get this thing working fully?
Thank you.

Re: Sequencer won't sync to Live tempo despite MIDI preferences
From the manual:
In Live's MIDI Preferences you must enable clock to be sent. The Sync button (the middle one) must be ON for the output port the SC4 is connected to, otherwise, clock will not be sent. See 29.2.1 Synchronizing External MIDI Devices to Live in the Live manual.
Are you connected by USB or a MIDI cable?Sync / Stop (Encoder 6)
Int intern clock is used
USb extern clock synchronization (Midiclock) via USB port
nnId extern clock synchronization (Midiclock) via Midi in port
In Live's MIDI Preferences you must enable clock to be sent. The Sync button (the middle one) must be ON for the output port the SC4 is connected to, otherwise, clock will not be sent. See 29.2.1 Synchronizing External MIDI Devices to Live in the Live manual.
Are you seeing any flashing? If not the unit is simply not receiving MIDI at all.The right point in lower right corner of the display shows incoming midi data. It flashes bright when the device receives controller data. Low flashing indicates midi clock or other midi data.

USB cable.
Yeah, I'd gone over the manual about a dozen times trying to figure out why this wasn't working, had all my settings correct. Live was sending sync as well as midi remote signals but it wouldn't accept them. Tried testing in Midi Ox as Mathias/Faderfox requested and confirmed it was not receiving any signals sent to it there either.
Re-installed the same firmware version it already had and still wasn't working, tested for awhile.. fired off another email to let him know and then a minute later sound just came out of Live.. bizarre. Not sure why but it's working now!
