New to Ableton and have a few questions regarding equipment
I am new to Ableton and I want to use it to play back pre-recorded tracks with my band in a bar. I don't have a big budget, but could someone tell me exactly what equipment I would need to make it possible for 4 guys to have a headphone mi of the click and to play along with it. Please explain this like I'm 5. What kind of mixer would I need? Would I need a separate mixer for the headphone mix? Please advise.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: New to Ableton and have a few questions regarding equipment
As far as all the things youll need for sound, youre looking at needing an Audio interface (to connect your mixer to the pc), a 4 channel mixer at minimum (it really depends on what youre all playing, most likely you'll need an 8 channel mixer), to connect a bunch of headphones youre looking for headphone amps, if you can afford wireless headphone amps its way more convenient. Obviously with that comes the standard kettle leads, XLR's that youll need to buy. Id rather not recommend specifically what brands you should buy because its all very situational but you shouldn't have trouble getting all that for well under $1000. And I didn't talk about things like speakers, mics etc. because you didn't really mention them so if you need advice on what you need I can give suggestions at a later date.

You will need an audio interface with two pair of outputs, one for the backing tracks and one for the mix going to the headphones. Then a headphone amp for 4 units.
for audio interface it could be a Steinber UR44.
for the headphones:

Or maybe something like this:
