fast track pro not found with windows 10

i have an old m-audio fast track pro. 2 in 2 out.
it shows up in windows 10 device manager
but it doesn't show up in the audio choices for ableton.
i'm using live 9 intro

any ideas?

Did you install drivers for it? You might have to look for win 10 or 8 drivers on the AVID site. It is one of the devices that AVID retained after m-audio was picked up by Akai.

Yeah if it's 10+ years old you may find they haven't updated drivers for Win10. Happened to me with my trusty Presonus Firebox. I hacked older Win7 drivers to install and it seemed to all work but every few minutes audio would stop for a second so I had to upgrade it which was a shame as it worked perfectly.
