Fixed Ableton Looping

Post by Chuku » Thu Jul 27, 2017 10:43 am

Hey All,

I am playing with my launchkey mini and what i would like to do is to have a fixed Bar looping.. Example, everytime i do a looping in a launchkey, i have to trigger the stop button.. I would like to be able to record and stop recording after certain Bar (let's say 8) and stop recording itself after 8 bar and continue playing in the background what i've recorded.
Hope my question makes sense.

Thanks in advance..

Cheers

Instead of hitting stop after a loop, just hit the same button that you used to start it. Then it will continue playing automatically.

Using a Push 2 enables me to choose how many bars the loop is fixed too, maybe also possible with your controller, dunno.......

With Push 2 midi is looped, and audio stops after the set amount of bars.
Akai Force, Soundcraft UI24R, ESI M4U eX, Reason 12, Live Suit 10, Presonus Eris E8 and Monitor Station V2, Akai MPK mini MK3, Korg N1, Yamaha RM1x & Behringer TD3MO and RD9

that is the solution at you're question, because that don't stop the play in background normaly.

Press you're trigger for enter on REC, and press again the same trigger for out of REC.

Unless you want it to shut down automatically after the 8bars :?: :?:    If that's it, use the LOOPER.

all that for AUDIO. MIDI is différent.
