How to drop files

I am having a female singer record her vocals and send them to me. I want to be able to add the audio file to my instrumental track. I am using Ableton Live Intro. What form should she record them in and once I receive it how do I drop the file into my song? Thanks, Jeff

In her best from naturally and in Wav or AIFF format.

Then when the main Live window is open and not full screen just select the file on disk, hold down the mouse and drag the file into empty non-track space and an audio track will be created or into a clip slot in an existing one.
