I think it would be great if we can randomize or 'humanize' the velocity and quantize of all the selected midi notes.
I know we can automatically have this if we're using keyboard controllers or midi controllers. But sometimes we have to draw ourself, away from controllers.
This will help us to achieve more humanize sounds produced by the generators. specially for Pianos, Guitars, Drums
Also, bring the back to the default velocity value was hard to do.
Thanks

12. Using Grooves already does a lot of what you're asking.

While grooves are great — I use them always — they do have drawbacks as well. Like that lengths are affected, which may not work out particularly well for non-percussive material. And grooves are not like Swing as some people confusingly believe.chrk wrote:12. Using Grooves already does a lot of what you're asking.
I use Max For Live devices like Group Humanizer and similar for what grooves can't deliver. Unfortunately I've never been able to get away using it in real time, having massive latencies.
I do think something like this would be nice to have fully integrated into Live. So good suggestion.aldywaani wrote:I think it would be great if we can randomize or 'humanize' the velocity and quantize of all the selected midi notes.
Make some music!

I also echo this.Stromkraft wrote:While grooves are great — I use them always — they do have drawbacks as well. I've used both grooves and other devices but remember fondly the "humanize" tool in the drop down menu of my old Logic Platinum 4.8 software. You could use it to slightly vary either one or both of the velocity and the placement of the note. Fantastic for making beats sound real. A plugin would be a waste of time imvho. Best to duplicate a track (or save a copy of the song) and apply a tool that fixes these parameters (or more)

Yeah I refer to Logic's feature. I use this a lot when creating Drums with EZ Drummer on Logic. But I have moved to Live for 5 years
