I was wondering what version is he using in this video:
If you look closely, you'll see that there's 'COLLECTION' Menu Bar on top of Categories.
Is this created if we install Serato Sample plugin? Or is it a new version of Live?
I hope someone can enlighten me

I've seen this screen shot tons of time with people saying its Live 10. What's the collection bar you're referring to? Can you circle it in the image?
It still just looks like Live 9 disco to me lol

I do not know any skin that allows to select the backround color of the waveform
in Arrange Window.
It is clearly not the highlight color, that is the clip on the left (black backround)
Besides the "Collection" Tab.
But i did not try all of the available skins, maybe there`s something i don`t know...

Yes there is some category at the top of the browser that seems to say "collections" and a button/dropdown to the right of that that says "no filter" that isn't there in L9. It also has a red colored item in the browser (I don't think anything is colored in the browser in L9) Also, clips in the timeline seem to be colored (not just the headers). Not sure if that's possible with a skin. The browser changes make me think this really might be a new version, although very little else seems to have changed visually. But then again, I'm not really expecting Ableton to change how Live looks significantly.

Are these changes enough to justify a Live 10 though?
I wasn't around for the jump from 8 to 9, but IMO the Live 9.5 update seems like a more significant upgrade than simply a "Collections" section in the browser and coloured waveform backgrounds.
This could just be the current Beta for Live 9, can any beta testers confirm this ?

Live 9.7 already released. why would need a beta for Live 9?
