Hi,
I'm thinking of buying a 2i2 (my first audio inteface!), but I'm not sure if I can que up tracks as in a DJ setting, where you want the next track to play into the headphones only.
I'm hearing conflicting info and so hopefully you experts can clear this up.
Potentially I need a 2i4 instead.
Cheers

Yes, you would need the 2i4 as the 2i2 only has a stereo output.

Thanks buddy!
Re: Scarlett 2i2 and headphone queing
I learnt this the hard way with the 1st gen 2i2...
The 2i4 has a switch which lets you flick between outputs 1+2 and 3+4 - this is very handy if you're working on headphones at home/in the studio and for whatever reason want to switch quickly between the cue signal and the master.
The 6i6, which is the interface I use now, has two discrete headphone outputs (and more of everything), which again gives you more options. I figured that the price difference between the 2i4 and the 6i6 wasn't too big, so I went for the latter.
