Can I use this interface for quing tracks through the head phone port.
I found one on sale at my local store for $150.00 and was going to buy it if it worked.
A quick answer would be awesome.
Thanks,
Che

i believe the headphone port just clones the 1/2 output.
look at the Firewire Audiophile instead.

ya, you definetly cant. But, if you are running OSX, you can use device aggregation and cue out through your headphone jack in your computer. Then you can still have the pre-amps, which you lose if you go with the audiophile.

I went with the M-Audio Firewire 1814. I got it for 399.00 brand new and figured I couldn't beat it for the price. I set it up and it works perfect. The sound is amazing too. It has an awesome sound card in it compaired to my powerbook.
Again thanks.
Cheers!
