unacceptable disgusting bug!!!!
How this his has slipped by quality control is beyond me.
I have dragged in audio files auto warpped them and the adjustring the warp markers and now the clip statrs in serveral bars beyond the start arrow.
My advice is not another flipping feature guys! Fix what we have all payed for!
How can you call something so buggy Live? Maybe it should be called "practice" or "rehersal".
Who gives a damn about NAMM. Make this tight and NAMM will come to you.
By not fixing these bugs you are being greedy. Drawing in new customers with fancy features that don't even work is wrong. This may mean short term profits but it is definately long term loss. If project 5 v2 turns out to be more stable live muscians may leave live for it. I atcually love live more all my other software but this is really pissing me off.
How about this for marketing "Live 5.1 NO BUGS!"
I am starting to fell like this is a porsche with no gas in it.

this is a bugtimothyallan wrote:In the time it took you to write that load, you could have read the manual and figured out the new transport controls and how the clip start point works now.
I opened another set and the clip plays as it should.
This behavior is random.
and it would kill any live performance

all right I ranted onatom_b wrote:Apparently you came across what is called 'Nudging' in Live 5. You might want to read the f****** manual for details, before ranting on.
but talking like you do can only be done in chat rooms
otherwise people get hit in the mouth where I am from (Boston)
anyway I guess its automatic nudging because I am not touching anything other than the spacebar
still seems like a bug to me but I will look into this further
and if I am wrong I will humbly admit to acting completely stupid
but since I have a gig tonight I was getting just a little wigged out by it
